Leading Edge is the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of small wind turbines, with both horizontal and vertical axis models built for reliability in the harshest conditions on Earth.

From trickle-charging a remote sensor to powering a full hybrid system, our turbines are the backbone of off-grid renewable energy. Every turbine is precision-engineered and manufactured in our Herefordshire workshop, available in 12V, 24V or 48V, and backed by the team that designed them.

The Leading Edge LE-v50 Storm vertical axis wind turbine is a compact, silent and lightweight turbine designed for battery-charging of low power electronic devices. Examples include data-loggers, radio and telemetry equipment in some of the world's harshest locations - Antarctica, Greenland and Arctic Canada.

LE-v150 Standard

The Leading Edge LE-v150 is a rugged, silent and highly reliable vertical axis wind. Larger in both length and power output than the LE-v50, this turbine is designed to provide power outputs of up to 200 watts for a host of different battery charging applications.
